Near the start of the tunnel, you will come across a ledge leading to the next section. If you carry on the route rather than make the jump, you will drive past a small alcove. The second terminal is located at the far end of this alcove. | |||

The third terminal is located within the vessel's bridge, in the middle of the front holographic displays. The section is indicated with a red color that stands out from the rest. | |||

The fourth terminal is located against the Marathon-symbol-shaped structure near the center of the island where the first Hunter pair is fought, on the circular part and beneath the "bridge" | |||
Halo 1: Terminal 5 | Assault on the Control Room | ||
The fifth terminal is located at the bottom of a pit in front of the Control Room structure at the end of the level. The terminal is on the ground, under the base of a large metal strut that runs diagonally down the front building. | |||
Halo 1: Terminal 6 | 343 Guilty Spark | ||
The sixth terminal is found while riding the third elevator that will allow you to escape the underground facility. You'll find the terminal above the doorway you came out of. It can be reached by activating the elevator, then timing it correctly and jumping off onto the platform below (there is only one possible attempt due to the lack of elevator controls on the top floor). | |||

The seventh terminal is located on the Library's third floor. You will eventually come to the index chamber - a room with a large circular room, with the Index platform above it. Go either right or left and jump over the low barriers until you get to the opposite side. The terminal flashes yellow, and can be clearly seen across the chasm. | |||
Halo 1: Terminal 8 | Two Betrayals | ||
The eighth terminal is in the control room at the level's very beginning. walk around the circular platform and the terminal can be found directly across from the central console. | |||
Halo 1: Terminal 9 | Keyes | ||
The ninth terminal can be found after the player find Keyes absorbed into the Proto-Gravemind. Eliminate nearby Covenant and Flood forces, then search the sunken crevices to the side of the raised platform. The terminal is a red holographic panel, and will be on one the right crevice's wall. | |||
Halo 1: Terminal 10 | The Maw | ||
The tenth terminal in the game can be found in the Cryo Bay's second floor, where Sentinels are fighting a large Flood force. The terminal is a computer screen on the wall, similar to the first terminal. | |||

The terminal is a Forerunner terminal in the large submerged room with Kig-Yar Snipers, Yanme'e, Sangheili Honor Guardsmen, and a pair of Mgalekgolo. The terminal is on the upper level, on the pillar behind Prophet of Regret's hologram. | |||

The terminal is a Covenant terminal in the room with the final piston of the level. The room is easily identified by the fact that it is completely devoid of combat; the only Flood in the room are dead. The terminal is behind a wall on the right side of the room. | |||
Halo 2: Terminal 9 | Quarantine Zone | ||
The terminal is a Forerunner terminal in the first large room in the crashed Sentinel manufacturing facility. It is on the lower level, beneath the platform on the far side of the room. | |||
Halo 2: Terminal 10 | Gravemind | ||
The terminal is a Covenant terminal in the first Valley of Tears. At the top of the cliff on the far side of the valley, near the exit door, on the wall behind where a Kig-Yar Sniper spawns, it can be found on the wall. | |||
Halo 2: Terminal 11 | Uprising | ||
The terminal is a Forerunner terminal in the first area of the chapter "Fight Club" after the waterfall, before crossing the stone bridge into the armory room with both human and Covenantweapons. The terminal can be found on the wall inside the second alcove. | |||
Halo 2: Terminal 12 | High Charity | ||
The terminal is a Covenant terminal to the left of the door after entering the Inner Sanctum. | |||
Halo 2: Terminal 13 | The Great Journey | ||
The terminal is a Forerunner terminal in back of one of the jail cells of the Bastion of the Brutes. It is in the center right cell on the upper level. | |||
Halo 3: Terminal 1 | The Ark | ||
After fighting the Hunters, continue on your way until you enter a building in the cliff wall. You should now be in a corridor with two holographic displays on the right, and two doors on the left. Enter the semi-circular room and you will see the first of the seven Terminals. | |||
Halo 3: Terminal 2 | The Ark | ||
Easily accessed at Rally Point Alpha. Go outside to the desert area, commandeering transport. You must complete a significant section of this level until you obtain tanks after defeating the Anti-Air Wraiths, then return in the tanks to the main door to the structure. When you go inside the structure to let the tanks across the energy bridge, there will be a Terminal directly behind the controls for the bridge. You must activate the bridge before you can access this Terminal. | |||
Halo 3: Terminal 3 | The Ark | ||
There is a part in the level in which you walk down a long hallway with white walls, and turn to the left at the end to continue. In the next room there will be a Grunt wandering around, and many stacked up plasma batteries. As soon as you enter this room, go underneath the staircase / platform on which you are standing. Underneath there will be a door that conceals the Terminal. To access this Terminal, you may spawn at Rally Point Bravo, bringing you to the room with the sleeping Grunts, directly before the room with the Grunt and Plasma Batteries. | |||
Halo 3: Terminal 4 | The Ark | ||
Fight your way past the Covenant beach defenses, then obtain the Warthog and fight onwards up the hill and eventually past the Wraith. Go inside the structure and fight past the various Covenant inside. The fourth Terminal is located near the first elevator control. Before you ride the elevator up, look at the opposite side of the elevator from which you came. You will see a dark ledge; jump on to it and you should see the Terminal to your left. | |||
Halo 3: Terminal 5 | The Ark | ||
After getting a Hornet, fly towards the second tower (the one that the Elites have already disabled). The Arbiter will remind you that Tower 2 is already clear, just to confirm you are at the right place. The Terminal is in the main hallway of the structure, with three dead elites, opposite from the only (locked) door. (And as a bonus, there is a skull on the outside of Tower 2 on the rise platform in the middle; just walk up and claim it for another achievement. Note that the skull won't be present if you start from Rally Point Alpha, or are playing on the Easy difficulty.) | |||
Halo 3: Terminal 6 | The Ark | ||
Terminal 6 is placed identically to Terminal 4, only in the third tower and off to the right (versus the left in Terminal 4). Enter the tower, fighting your way past the Drone swarm and the pair of Hunters. The Terminal is located near the elevator control; before you ride the elevator up, look at the opposite side of the elevator from which you came. You will see a dark ledge, jump on to it and you should see the Terminal, which opens up to the left. | |||
Halo 3: Terminal 7 | Cortana | ||
Terminal 7 is found at the beginning of the final level in Halo 3. To find it, head forward from the start of the level through the snow until you encounter the area with a few structural beams going from one wall into another. At this point (before you go past any beams) you will see a metal floor. Follow the floor to the right and up through a small gap in the ice, and follow this path along. You will find a beam heading through a crack in the ice. Follow this beam into a doorway. Cortana will ask you, “Where are you going?”. Turn left once inside and the Terminal should be in full view. Cortana will say, "Wait. What's that?" as a good hint. The Terminal will be in front of what is presumably one of Installation 08's pulse generators. After that, Cortana will ask you: "How many of these have you found?" If the level is completed on Legendary, the Terminal, once accessed on a different difficulty or another run-through, will show a communique from Mendicant Bias himself. | |||
Halo 4: Terminal 1 | Requiem | ||
In the level Requiem, after entering the terminus tower, one will enter a room where the structures hanging from the ceiling will retract into the walls on the side. At the far end of the room is a staircase that leads to the elevator which is the objective. The terminal is located under the staircase. | |||
Halo 4: Terminal 2 | Forerunner | ||
In the level Forerunner, during the journey to the first pylon, the player will reach a symmetrical platform. After clearing the Prometheans in that area, John's HUD will be distorted, which prompts him to ask, "What's that distortion?" Under the door leading to the next area is the Terminal. | |||
Halo 4: Terminal 3 | Infinity | ||
On the level Infinity, after meeting Lasky and Palmer and being told to find an LZ, look behind the Chief and the terminal is seen at the end of the corridor. | |||
Halo 4: Terminal 4 | Reclaimer | ||
During the level Reclaimer after the Librarian cutscene. Exit the Librarian's chamber like you normally would, but instead of heading straight for the elevator, take a detour down the corridor on the right. The Terminal should be in plain view. | |||
Halo 4: Terminal 5 | Shutdown | ||
In the level Shutdown in the third spire. Get to the central platform with multiple light bridges. Cross the light bridge to the left of the bridge you would normally cross to reach your objective. This leads to a platform guarded by Jackals. The Terminal is located behind the platform's central column. | |||
Halo 4: Terminal 6 | Composer | ||
During the level Composer, outside the station. The Terminal is located within a cluster of rocks under the Atrium. | |||
Halo 4: Terminal 7 | Midnight | ||
During the level Midnight, shortly after boarding the Mantle's Approach. Get to the third room with enemies in it. There should be no Knights here. The Terminal is located in this room's central structure. |
